Benefits of using our NextGen Sucker Rod Pump (SRP) System

Compact Surface Footprint


Compact footprint ideal for offshore and space-constrained wells. Mounted directly on the wellhead with a small HPU skid, it removes the need for large structures and major civil works, reducing installation time and infrastructure requirements.

Insertable into tubing


Downhole pumps are installed and retrieved through the rod string, meaning no need to pull tubing for initial installation & pump changes. This reduces workover time, cost, and operational complexity.

Ideal for low-rate and marginal wells


SRPs operate efficiently at low production rates and can handle intermittent or idle wells. This makes them well-suited for late-life, marginal oil and gas assets where other ALS are uneconomical.

Higher Efficiencies


The HRP NextGen SRP improves efficiency through long-stroke, slow-speed operation, reducing friction and improving pump fillage. Its longer stroke also increases gas compression ratio, improving gas handling and reducing gas lock. Combined with specialty gas-handling pumps, it delivers stable production in high-GOR and liquid-loaded wells.

Long stroke improves reliability and run life


Long-stroke HRP operation reduces cyclic loading, rod compression, and localized wear. Combined with a simple surface-driven design, this results in high reliability, extended run life, and improved MTTF across rods, tubing, and pump components.

Ideal for low-rate and marginal wells

Tolerant to gas, solids, and pumped-off conditions


SRPs can operate effectively under pumped-off conditions and are more forgiving to gas interference and solids when properly designed. They are also less sensitive to fluid property changes compared to other lift systems.

Surface-driven system


All power and control systems are located at surface, eliminating downhole electrical components. This provides easier maintenance, improved safety, and simpler troubleshooting.

Full production control and optimization


SRPs allow precise control of stroke length, speed (SPM), and pump fillage. With surface diagnostics (e.g., dynacards and controllers), operators can optimize production in real time and respond quickly to changing well conditions.
